How Mattis is played
Avoid tricks first. Get rid of your cards at the end.
Mattis is played in two phases. During the first phase, players play tricks and try to avoid winning them. When the deck is empty, the second phase begins, and players must get rid of the cards they have collected.
The final player still holding cards becomes mattis. The complete rules are available under “Rules” inside Mattis.
